Let’s talk about why Qatar Airways have stopped hiring flight attendants in the Philippines.
Disclaimer: This is not the official statement of the airline not the right information but instead the things I heard from other people.
Qatar Airways usually goes to Philippines every month for recruitment but to-date, none.
TBH, I received a lot of messages, emails, and concerns on this matter. Some of you have passed the interview and just waiting for the call. I also experience it before, way back in 2013.

THE STORY IS..there has been a Filipina whom was fired from her position as a flight attendant and filed the case against Qatar Airways. As the proceeding goes, the airline still conduct recruitment. Then, the judgement is released and that Filipina FA won the case. The issue has not been told nor given. After, the airline has pay for damages and etc. That happened in November 2018 because my friend has ticket to fly with Qatar but suddenly got canceled.
So, I assumed it the business decision and political move by Qatar Airways to stopped hiring flight attendants from the Philippines. Airlines has prerogative to stop hiring some nationals on their airline which is unexpected for applicants.
What to do now? Just move on. You could wait for them to call you back. Or try to apply with other airlines instead, just like what I did and get hired with Oman Air. I had the great experience and it turned out well for me.
Don’t worry too much because there are a lot of jobs to choose from.
Again, this is not the full facts but a story from other people I know. In short, this is just a chismax.
