Qatar Airways Cabin Crew Final Interview Day 3
How do you nail the Day 3 Final Interview assessment? I will speak based on my experiences and learning. Qatar Airways is a 5-star international airline company.
What to expect? You will have the chance to choose your time slot for the interview. Recruiters are on time. There are instances wherein one is late and your next, your interview is earlier than your schedule. They will be talking to you one-on-one for about 30 minutes. That is the average time of knowing you.
After the interview, recruiters will say that they will just contact you via email later on - 2 weeks perhaps. But the waiting time is sometimes shorter or even longer.
With all these, here are my final interview tips for you:
- Do your make-up on a broad day light because curtains are being opened up in the hotel. Make it daylight friendly. Unlike on your Day 1 and 2, make-up are alright to be that thick because there are yellow lights. It must look nice and pleasant for white lights.

- Prepare for behavioral questions.They will definitely not ask you basic questions because they search for the good fit candidates for their company. You must do your research of what could they ask you on this round. Like “Tell us a thing that you have overcome in your life so far.” “ Can you tell us a success story in your life?” These are indeed tricky questions. To answer it, you must use the STAR method.
STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Resolution/Result. It can help you structure your thoughts to form a nice answer. In situation, you start with its overview and a brief summary. Task, you can state your role or responsibility. Actions taken, how you dealt with it? Then in resolution, it is the result. E.g. “Tell us a thing that you have overcome in your life so far.” S- My parents died. T- I become the rock of the family though I experience sadness and depression. A- I talked to my friends. A- Everything is fine. I able to cope up in my depression. I found solace in prayer. That life gets better in the end. Through this method, you will not be lost but rather have a flow to answer these behavioral questions. If you do, STAR method is a win-win chance for you.
- Reminders of basic application rules: keep you hands on your lap, sit properly, posture, smile, and eye contact
