In here, I will share some flight attendant interview tips for Oman Air.
Tips for Oman Air Interview:
- Have your BMI correct. You can never pass the initial interview if your height is not appropriate weight.
- Prepare for Open Day by thorough research about the company, country, job description of a flight attendant, and interview questions.
- Exhibit the right qualities of a flight attendant.
- Have the right attitude, be equipped, and open on the day of interview.

In Oman Air, the company has the same flight attendant standards but not as strict as other airlines. But it would be the same recruitment and preparation process.
Also, open days are through agency and they specifically state the height requirement because they hire as many as they can, then later on eliminate depending on the pool of applicants. The most common way to pick and lessen the applicants is putting the height requirement higher than 156cm. But my suggestion is you still try to apply.
For competency base interview, airline usually assess your teamwork ability and which I shared on my previous blog.
Overall, airline companies have different standards in their open days depending on their need. Like when they held an open day and the pool of applicants is lower than what they’ve expected, the tendency is they will low down the height requirement so you should always get updates on this to have a better chance and opportunity to be a flight attendant.
