How to be a Flight Attendant?|My Best and Worst Day as a Flight Attendant

Sharing my story about my best and worst days as a flight attendant, as requested.

Disclaimer: These things are my personal experience and it didn’t mean it happen to me will happen to you as well.

I’m gonna start with my worst day happened on my middle-time career, I encountered the most notorious boss wherein all I do is wrong. On the briefing part, I wasn’t able to answer the way my boss wanted me to do so. Though, I passed the crossed checking for the flight. Then, I felt I was picked on. I didn’t want to take it personally because it is a flight, I wanna let it be finished, take the feedback positively. After which, I felt so tired, and bullied. At the end, it is best to remain professional and be friendly no matter what happen.

No matter what mood you have or whatever your situation is, when you have a flight schedule to attend to - you must show up, stay professional and do your job effectively.

Best days of my life were flying with my 2 best of friends. It is the best flight I had because everything is light and nice. Our teamwork was what I love. We served best so we end up getting big commission. It was an international. We were happy and helped each other during the flight. There were no complaints throughout the trip then we also had time to stroll and had some photo shoot. Everything went well, happiness and fun the whole time.

Whenever I fly with this kind of team, I enjoyed more and I loved to fly. When you see in their eyes that they love what their doing, you really feel their good vibes. This happened a lot to me, those people who don’t have issue and had passion of flying.

Also, receiving commendations from passengers for the great service I did were also something I loved to treasure. Fun times when I flew with cute kids and took some time to play with them.

Indeed, there will always be your best and worst day in the workplace but there’s nothing to worry about because all is well. You have to just take it, be positive, remain calm, and be professional always.
