Being a Pinay flight attendant, One of the best part of the job is getting to go home and see familiar face, eat familiar food and do your favorite home activities. You are not like any other OFW that needs to save a lot of money and get an arranged vacation days just to go home again. I would say this is one of the best perks of working as a flight attendant.

I don’t really have much family and friends back in Manila (my friends and family are mostly in Cebu)  so most of us who lives in the province will not be able to go back home during short layover like this one.

So on this particular layover I met with my Aunt who is based in Manila.

We went straight away for live music that night. I miss live music the most when I go home I always want to go out and listen to our home grown talents.

The best part of any place I ever go to is of course the food.

But in this case I also loved loved the girly stuff that I get to do for such an affordable price compared to anywhere in the world.

Also did you know the best the dentists can be found in here in the Philippines?

My gosh the horror stories of dentists abroad will scare you to death 🙂

Anywhoo..

Here is a video of me and my Tita having a great time just being girls.

  1. Hi sis. Its been months since i first came across your blogsite and youtube channel. Being a flight attendant was my childhood dream but due to some circumstances in life, i wasnt able to fulfill it. But hey as they always say it is never too late for anything. I am a mother of two as i speak. Im 31 yrs old though i dont honestly look like my age. Haha I always get compliments like i look 5 to 8 yrs younger. 🙂 So right now I really want to pursue my dream career. I am so inspired by you and some of my fa friends. But I tend to get insecure since Im already 31 yrs old. I am actually planning to enroll myself to a flight attendant school just to prepare myself to what i should expect. Plus i really am clueless to anything about aviation. I worked as a call center agent for 2 yrs and as a customer service agent for a toy company so basically i am used to serving people, attending to their needs and ofcourse helping them with their concerns and queries. Do you think i can still make it as a flight attendant even if i am at this age already? I really want to work with Saudia Airlines but the age limit is til 30 yrs old only. I know air asia accepts fa until 35 yrs of age. I truly and immensely want to be a flight stewardess like you but I am doubting myself right now bec of my age. And like i said, i would enroll myself toa flight attendant school without any assurance if id be able to land the job after i finish the course. Needless to say im in the lowest point of my life right now bec my live in partner for seven yrs cheated on me and had the nerve to break up with me. I was devastated and depressed. But i really want to pick myself up now and show the world what im truly made of and i want to stand on my own feet for the sake of my kids. And becoming a flight attendant is the first step for me. Please help me. Thank you so much Kaykriss! God bless and safe flight always. ☺

  2. Hi sis! I do hear some stories that they are already 30 but still got in. You are also right about air Asia. These are international flight attendants. In Philippines though, like Cebu pacific and pal they do have an age limit. My advice for you is try to think positive despite all your doubts. when asked about your age, say something to make it an asset instead of a liability. Be confident that you can do the job. With a little luck and perseverance you should be able to achieve this goal. That is if you truly believe you can.
